Cookie Usage Guide
Cookies are data stored by websites in the client browser, containing a small amount of arbitrary data. In most cases, accounts are sold together with cookies in JSON format.
After logging into your account with your username and password, the website saves a special tag in the cookie, which allows the website to recognize the user even if they close the browser tab, shut down the computer, and return to the website later. If you transfer the cookie to another browser or computer and log into that website platform, the platform will not suspect that the account has been logged in from another device, just as if you logged in with your own credentials. The main advantage of logging into an account via cookie is that it eliminates the need for authorization through username and password, and increases the website's trust in such account logins. However, this does not mean it can replace following other rules/recommendations, such as using high-quality proxy IPs, account anti-association measures, etc.
What is User Agent?
User Agent is a browser identifier string passed to the server when entering a website page. This identifier contains information about the browser type, the type of system the browser is running on, and the browser version. User Agent example: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/89.0.4389.90 Safari/537.36
User Agent is used by social media. The network changes when compiling device fingerprints, so various browsers with device fingerprint modification capabilities replace this value for each new tab. If the account you purchased comes with a User Agent, you should use it to reduce the likelihood of the account being disabled. The setup process may vary depending on the software you plan to use, but typically, the basic operation is simply copying the relevant User Agent information and pasting it where needed, which is a very simple process.
You can use a fingerprint browser to import relevant User Agent information
How to use accounts with cookies?
If you need to use cookies to log into the corresponding account, you can use a fingerprint browser to import these cookie codes. Here we only use AdsPower Browser fingerprint browser as an example:
- Download AdsPower Browser software to your computer
- Register an account
- If your needs are not extensive, the free version is sufficient; the free version allows you to create 2 browser environments for free
- After registering your account, click "New Browser" in the upper right corner
- After opening the new browser page, you can see a Cookie area at the bottom; copy and paste the entire JSON Cookie code here
- If the card key information includes User Agent, you also need to copy and paste it into the User Agent area (you need to delete the default parameters in the User Agent box before pasting)
- Scroll down to the account platform option, where you need to select the corresponding platform; for example, if you imported Facebook cookies, select Facebook as the platform
- After configuring the corresponding proxy IP, click save
- Once configuration is complete, you can open it
